The Atomic Backland 109 makes a very powerful play for being a true 50/50 deep day monster in or out of bounds. The skis 109mm underfoot measurement provides nice float while staying lightweight and still providing some great hard charging abilities. The skis lightweight construction is thanks to an Ultralight Woodcore blend bolstered by Fiberglass and Resin, the ski stays where you want it at higher speeds and is still easy to get up the skin track (a 184 cm length the ski weighs 1540 grams). Don’t be fooled though, the Backland 109 is still powerful, a hardwood plate underfoot provides retention and power while that blended woodcore and Rocker/Camber/Rocker construction provides enough umph to huck that cliff or crush that big boy line, from mellow tour days to that line you’ve been dreaming of, the Backland 109 is your partner in crime. *Note: These skis are brand new and were pre-mounted by our shop.*
